Acclaimed Restaurant Opens New Location In Camden Co. This Weekend
The local eatery, known for its cheesesteaks and Trenton-style tomato pies, is opening its second location soon.
GLOUCESTER CITY, NJ — After years in the oven, a popular restaurant known for a regional delicacy has set an opening date for its new Gloucester City location.
Lillo's Tomato Pies has generated plenty of fanfare at its original location in Hainesport, where they specialize in cheesesteaks and Trenton-style tomato pies.
A second location in Gloucester City has been in the work for more than a year. On Friday, Lillo's announced that the new eatery will open Sunday, coinciding with the city's St. Patrick's Day Parade.

"This Sunday, on Parade Day, our family officially becomes part of yours," Lillo's announced on social media. "There’s no better day, or better city to open these doors!"
The restaurant will have a limited menu, only serving 200 tomato pies and 400 cheesesteaks, along with fries. The bar will offer drafts, shots, light mixed drinks and canned beverages.

Lillo's opens at noon Sunday, serving food while supplies lasts. The bar will close at 10 p.m.
The new restaurant will be located at 157 S Burlington St., Gloucester City.
