Man Sent Threatening Emails To Hillsborough Police: Blotter
The blotter for June also includes 14 DWI arrests, a TikTok scam, shoplifting, and more.
HILLSBOROUGH, NJ — A man was charged after threatening Hillsborough Police in June.
On June 23, Luke Fawcett, 28, of Hillsborough, was charged with harassment (disorderly persons) after sending threatening emails to the Hillsborough Township Police Department.
He was served his summons and given a Hillsborough Township Municipal Court date.

On June 2: Justin Bello, 62, of Paterson, was charged with disorderly conduct (disorderly persons) while on a traffic stop on Camplain Road. He was served his summons and given a Hillsborough Township Municipal Court date.

+ Get My Business FoundOn June 3: Michael Murphy, 26, of Millstone Boro, was charged with disorderly conduct (disorderly persons) after failing to follow lawful commands from officers investigating the Roycebrook Golf Course (201 Hamilton Road). He was served his summons and given a Hillsborough Township Municipal Court date.
On June 3: A resident of Jamestown Commons reported the antenna was snapped off his truck and the bed cover was cut open. He valued the damage at $500. The investigation is ongoing.
On June 5: Brenda Picasso, 55, of Hillsborough, was arrested for DWI while on a traffic stop on Andria Avenue. She was processed and released with a Hillsborough Township Municipal Court date.
On June 5: A Clinton resident reported losing his wallet at the Lowes (315 Rt. 206) while shopping. After a few hours, there were $400 worth of charges on his credit cards. The investigation is ongoing.
On June 6: Melissa Francis, 27, of Bridgewater, was arrested for DWI while on a traffic stop on Brooks Boulevard. She was processed and released with a Hillsborough Township Municipal Court date.
On June 6: Deven Chopra, 19, of Hillsborough, was arrested for DWI while on a traffic stop on Amwell Road. He was processed and released with a Hillsborough Township Municipal Court date.
On June 6: Evan Tracey, 29, of Belle Mead, was arrested for DWI while on a traffic stop on Route 206. He was processed and released with a Hillsborough Township Municipal Court date.
On June 8: A resident of Andria Avenue reported two of her tires were slashed overnight. She valued the tires at $1,000. The investigation is ongoing.
On June 8: Brian Miller, 40, of Hillsborough, was charged with disorderly conduct (disorderly persons) after he was found in the parking lot of the Hillsborough Township Municipal Building cursing and acting belligerent. This was during the
business hours of the public building. He was served his summons and given a Hillsborough Township Municipal Court date.
On June 9: Jose Salazar–Bustamante, 24, of Manville, was charged with hindering (disorderly persons) after giving an officer a fake name while on a traffic stop on Old Camplain Road. He was served his summons and given a Hillsborough Township Municipal Court date.
On June 10: A resident of Bound Brook reported paying a security deposit for a vacant house on Long Hill Road to a person they met on TikTok. The victim also paid $100 for several failed walk-through visits where the “owner”
never showed up. Soon after, the “owner” of the house was no longer on TikTok and could not be contacted by the victim. The victim reported losing $1,050. The investigation is ongoing.
On June 12: Manuel Oxlaj-Ramierz, 38, of Plainfield, was arrested for DWI while on a traffic stop on Route 206. He was processed and released with a Hillsborough Township Municipal Court date.
On June 12: Brandon Boyd, 35, of Bedminster, was arrested and charged with displaying a fake temporary license plate (disorderly persons) while on a traffic stop on Partridge Road. He was processed and released with a Hillsborough Township Municipal Court date.
On June 12: Cheryl Grenfell, 58, of Hillsborough, was arrested for DWI while on a traffic stop on Route 206. She was processed and released with a Hillsborough Township Municipal Court date.
On June 12: Scott Ardinger, 52, of Hillsborough, was arrested for shoplifting (disorderly persons) after taking $24.54 worth of items without paying from Shoprite (601 Rt. 206). He was also found to be the suspect from a shoplifting in April 2026
where he took $30.75 worth of goods. He was served with both
summonses and given a Hillsborough Township Municipal Court date.
On June 14: Alejandro Gutierrez, 26, of Hillsborough, was arrested for DWI while on a traffic stop on Rt. 206. He was processed and released with a Hillsborough Township Municipal Court date.
On June 15: Abhinav Bhaskara, 29, of Edison, was arrested for DWI while on a motor vehicle crash investigation on Willow Road. He was processed and released with a Hillsborough Township Municipal Court date.
On June 16: Jean Orellana, 24, of Bridgewater, was arrested while on a traffic stop on Farm Road when it was found he was in possession of a fake temporary license plate (disorderly persons). He was processed and released with a Hillsborough Township Municipal Court date.
On June 18: Walgreens (706 Rt. 206) reported Cinthia Martinez-Nunez, 33, of Bound Brook, entered the store and took $266 worth of items without paying. She was served her summons and given a Hillsborough Township Municipal Court date.
On June 18: Carvajal Santiago, 20, of Norfolk, VA, was found to be soliciting door to door without a permit on Beverly Drive. He was served his summons and given a Hillsborough Township Municipal Court date.
On June 19: Ernesto Basilio, 45, of Somerset, was arrested for DWI while on a traffic stop on Route 206. He was processed and released with a Hillsborough Township Municipal Court date.
On June 21: Matthew Vanblerk, 25, of Hampton, was arrested for DWI while on a traffic stop on Beekman Ln. He was processed and released with a Hillsborough Township Municipal Court date.
On June 21: Farid Khan, 46, of Hillsborough, was arrested for DWI while on a traffic stop on Amsterdam Drive. He was processed and released with a Hillsborough Township Municipal Court date.
On June 22: David Vandine, 55, of Flemington, was arrested for DWI while on a traffic stop on Auten Road. He was processed and released with a Hillsborough Township Municipal Court date.
On June 22: Shuwen Zhang, 39, of Belle Mead, was charged with shoplifting (disorderly persons) after leaving Shoprite (601 Rt. 206) without scanning $282 worth of items in her cart. She was also seen eating food while walking through the store
she did not pay for. She was processed and released with a Hillsborough Township Municipal Court date.
On June 23: Leslie Curry-Igbokwe, 67, of Hillsborough, was charged with shoplifting (disorderly persons) after Weis Market (315 Rt. 206) reported she left the store with $152.26 worth of items she did not scan during checkout. During the investigation, it was found she had shoplifted seven times in the past few weeks. She was served summonses for each incident and given a Hillsborough Township Municipal Court date.
On June 23: Hamna Masood, 23, of Hillsborough, was arrested for DWI after arriving at Hillsborough Township Police Department to speak to an officer. She was processed and released with a Hillsborough Township Municipal Court date.
On June 23: Preet Patel, 26, of Hillsborough, was charged with contempt of court (disorderly persons) after disrupting Hillsborough Municipal Court. After several warnings, he was arrested, processed and released with a Hillsborough Township Municipal Court date.
On June 25: Andrew Klekner, 37, of Manville, was arrested for hindering (disorderly persons) and obstruction (disorderly persons) after he provided a fake name and date of birth to
officers on a traffic stop on Dukes Parkway East. He was served his summonses and given a Hillsborough Township Municipal Court date.
On June 25: Shuwen Zhang, 39, of Belle Mead, was arrested for shoplifting (disorderly persons) $213.14 worth of items from Shoprite (601 Rt. 206). She was processed and released with a Hillsborough Township Municipal Court date.
On June 26: James Allison, 66, of Bridgewater, was arrested for DWI while on a hit-and-run investigation on Triangle Road. He was processed and released with a Hillsborough Township Municipal Court date.
On June 26: Rizwan Majeep, 43, of Belle Mead, was charged with being in possession of a fraudulent license plate (disorderly persons) while on a traffic stop on Route 206. He was processed and released with a Hillsborough Township Municipal Court date.
On June 29: Trina Trent-Mitchel, 53, of Raritan, was arrested for DWI while on a traffic stop on Route 206. She was processed and released with a Hillsborough Township Municipal Court date.
