Military Service Breakfast, Memorial Day Parade Planned In Hillsborough For 2026

HILLSBOROUGH, NJ — The Hillsborough community will once again come together to honor the service and sacrifice of all military personnel during the Annual "Salute to Military Service Breakfast," Memorial Day Parade, and Garden of Honor Commemoration Program for 2026.

Salute to Military Service Breakfast

On Saturday, May 23, the Township will host the "Salute to Military Service Breakfast" at the Peter J. Biondi Municipal Complex.

Breakfast is open to all military personnel, veterans, and spouses

Breakfast will be held rain or shine on May 23. Doors open at 7:30 a.m.

To register for the complimentary breakfast stop in the Parks & Recreation office in the municipal building, Monday-Friday (8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.) or call the Parks & Recreation office at 908-369-4832.

Memorial Day Parade

The Memorial Day Parade will follow the breakfast.

The Township will be hosting its annual Memorial Day Parade on Saturday at 10 a.m.

The parade will include veterans, Hillsborough High School Marching Band, youth groups, antique cars, military vehicles, and fire trucks.

The parade route begins at the corner of Auten and New Amwell Road, and then on to Beekman, concluding at the Municipal Complex.

Following the parade, there will be a memorial ceremony at the Garden of Honor.
