HILLSBOROUGH, NJ — A proposed self-storage project on Route 206 in Hillsborough will not move forward this month after the applicant asked the township Board of Adjustment for more time.

"There are comments in the letters that my team would like to evaluate and potentially revise the plans," Prime said.

He also told the board, "We also, as you can see, retained new counsel, our firm. We'd like to get ourselves familiar with the file before we proceed with any more public hearings."

Prime said his partner, Jason Tuvel, would likely handle the matter going forward.

The applicant had submitted an extension request to the township on Sept. 2.

The Zoning Board agreed to move the hearing to its Jan. 20, 2027 reorganization meeting, where a new date would be issued in the new year.
