Flash Flooding In Hudson County Weather Forecast Sunday: See Risk Map

HUDSON COUNTY, NJ — Heavy rain is in the forecast for Sunday night, and flash floods are possible in North Jersey, the National Weather Service said.

North Jersey will have a lower risk of flooding than the central and southern parts of the state, the NWS said. (Use the links below for the most up-to-date forecast and radar).

As much as a half inch of rain is in the local forecast for Sunday night. Winds may gust as high as 20 MPH. The chance of precipitation is 80 percent.

Monday morning will be foggy with light rain possible. Thunderstorms are also possible in the afternoon, but the day will be partly sunny, the NWS said.

High tide on the Hudson River in Hoboken and downtown Jersey City is expected at 12:26 a.m. on Monday. In Secaucus, on the Hackensack River, it'll arrive around 1:01 a.m.
