Food Hall With 15 Restaurant Concepts Coming To Hoboken Development

HOBOKEN, NJ — A new food hall will bring 15 restaurant concepts and a smoothie café to the southwest corner of Hoboken, a spokesperson said Monday afternoon.

Alto has signed a lease to open in the public atrium of Southend Lofts, a 110-condo building located at 38 Jackson St. in Hoboken.

The building already has a dumpling shop and will have a supermarket on the ground floor.

Orbital Kitchens will open Alto, a dining area with approximately 15 "restaurant concepts" including Thai, modern Chinese, Hawaiian barbecue, Korean fried
chicken, tacos, sushi, ramen, and sourdough pizza.

Designed by EL Design Corp., Alto will also include a smoothie café and indoor seating.

Customers will be able to order through self-service kiosks, the Alto mobile app, or third-party delivery platforms. They can eat in the atrium or have food delivered.

The restaurant spot is expected to open early next year.
