A lot of people take a look at our classes and think:
“I’ve always wanted to try pottery… but I’d probably be terrible at it.”
Let us demystify things. First, for our one-time wheel classes, our goal is to make sure you have a great time and end the class with a piece you're happy with. Even if you've never touched clay before, we pride ourselves on making sure everyone has something to show for their time at the end of the class.
Our multi-week courses are no different. Check out the weekly breakdown below:
Week 1: You learn the basics (and yes, your first piece might wobble, that’s normal).
Weeks 2–3: Things start clicking. Centering gets easier. Shapes start looking intentional.
Weeks 4–5: You gain confidence. You experiment. You surprise yourself.
Weeks 6–7: Glazing, finishing, and realizing you made pieces you’re actually proud of.
Our instructors walk you through everything. We keep class sizes supportive and approachable. And the vibe? Encouraging, relaxed, and refreshingly unpretentious. You even get unlimited open studio time to come in and practice independently outside of class!
We see it every session, nervous beginners turn into confident makers in just 7 weeks.
If you’ve been waiting for the “right time,” this upcoming session is a great place to start.
Spots are filling, but you still have time. Head to our website and sign up today!
We can't wait to see you at the studio soon!
