Man Killed By NJ Transit Train Near Hoboken Station
A man was struck and killed near the Hoboken train station before midnight Thursday, officials said.
HOBOKEN, NJ — A man was struck and killed by a train leaving Hoboken Terminal late Thursday night, said an NJ Transit spokesperson.
Pascack Valley Line train 1647 was scheduled to leave the terminal at 11:12 p.m. Thursday and reach Spring Valley, N.Y. at 12:23 a.m. Friday, said spokesman Kyalo Mulumba.
At approximately 11:20 p.m., the train struck and fatally injured an adult male trespasser at the terminal, he said.

Eighteen customers and crew members were on the train, but there were no other injuries, Mulumba said.
New Jersey Transit police are investigating, he said. No other information was available Friday.
