New Shuttles Take Jersey City And Hoboken Residents To Jersey Shore, Philadelphia

HUDSON COUNTY, NJ — For Hudson County residents without a car, traveling often means heading into New York City to catch a train or bus back through New Jersey.

But two shuttle services are now picking up passengers in Jersey City, near the Hoboken border, to bring them to weekend destinations.

OurBus began taking customers from Jersey City to Boston last summer, and just added a Jersey City-to-Philly trip this summer.

And Park Avenue Worldwide has been picking up beach-goers in Jersey City on Fridays to take them to three Jersey Shore towns. The shuttle returns passengers on Sundays.

OurBus

The Jersey City-to-Philly service by OurBus takes passengers from the Newport PATH station to Center City Philadelphia twice daily and returns them twice daily as well. It operates each day except Tuesday and Wednesday.

Park Avenue Worldwide

Park Avenue Worldwide is a hired car service that also runs shuttles to the beach from Jersey City, Brooklyn, and Philadelphia. They head from Jersey City to Ventnor City, Ocean City, and Avalon on Friday evenings.
