Popular Restaurant On Hoboken Waterfront To Close, Invites Public To Party

A popular restaurant on the Hudson County waterfront will close, but has planned a party for customers this weekend.

HOBOKEN, NJ — Hoboken's Wicked Wolf Tavern has become known as a place to enjoy drinks along the Hudson River, or to bring the family for the kids' menu. But after this weekend, they plan to close.

The restaurant opened in 2010 and the corner of Sinatra Drive and Second Street.

A message posted on its social media on New Year's Day noted, "For 15 unforgettable years, Wicked Wolf has been more than a bar — it’s been a home, a meeting place, and a staple of Hoboken.

"We’re beyond grateful to every guest who walked through our doors, shared a drink, celebrated milestones, danced on Sundays, and made memories with us."

A graphic accompanying the post invited the public to "celebrate with us one last time" on Sunday. "Let’s raise a glass together and celebrate everything we’ve shared," it said.
