Rockin' Out in Hopatcong, Project Grad Fundraisers

1. Plenty of entertainment at Hopatcong's most happenin' spots. At Castaways, The Wrecks will play Friday night while Shameless Plug will perform Saturday night. At Pavinci, classic rock acts inclue Single Bullet Theory on Friday and Too Stupid to Quit on Saturday.

2. On Sunday, The Edge Salon in Landing on Lakeside Blvd. is hosting "Cut-A-Thon" to benefit the Hopatcong High School 2011 class' Project Graduation. Kids younger than 10 can get hair cuts for $5. Men will be $10, while women will be $15. If you need a cut, here's a good place to save and help out borough kids.

3. Hopatcong High School's varsity football team faces its first real challenge in two weeks when Pequannock comes to town at 7 p.m. The Chiefs enter the night 3-1, winners of three straight, including last week's blowout win over Whippany Park.

4. The Knee Deep Club meets up at 7:30 p.m. at the Civic Center, if you're interested in life on Lake Hopatcong.

5. If you bought mums from the Hopatcong High School seniors trying to raise money for Project Graduation, show up to the high school at 9 a.m. Saturday to pick them up. You have until 1 p.m.
