The opening week will be a short one. Students attend next Tuesday through Thursday, but schools and offices will close Friday for the Labor Day holiday. They will remain closed the following Monday for Labor Day, giving families a four-day weekend almost immediately after classes begin.
Families can find the calendar and individual school updates on the district’s website as the first bell approaches. They may also want to double-check transportation arrangements, schedules and opening-day instructions before students leave home.
