Man Hospitalized After Shooting In Howell, Prosecutor Says

The shooting is under investigation.

HOWELL, NJ — Authorities are investigating a shooting early Sunday in Howell that left a man hospitalized, the Monmouth County Prosecutor's Office said.

The shooting was reported by a 911 call at 12:05 a.m. on the 200 block of Alexander Avenue, the prosecutor's office said.

Howell police arrived and found the man suffering from a gunshot wound and he was taken to the hospital for treatment, the prosecutor's office said.

Authorities did not provide additional details about the man's injuries.
