Motorcyclist Thrown From Bike, Killed In Route 33 Crash In Monmouth County
The motorcyclist, a Howell resident, died at the scene; a second driver was injured, state police said.
MILLSTONE, NJ — A Howell Township man died Thursday evening in a crash involving a motorcycle and an SUV in Millstone, New Jersey State Police said Friday.
Jose J. Cruz Jr., 47, died at the scene of the crash which happened about 7 p.m., Detective Sgt. Caitlin Brennan said.
Cruz was riding a Honda motorcycle west on Route 33 when a Ford SUV turned left from Conover Road onto Route 33, Brennan said.

The motorcycle hit the side of the SUV, which caused Cruz to be thrown from it and he suffered fatal injuries, she said.
The driver of the Ford also suffered injuries and was taken to a hospital for treatment, Brennan said.

The crash remains under investigation, she said.
