USS Justice Celebrates Star Trek’s 60th Anniversary with Free Community Event at Morris County Library Whippany, NJ — August 2026 — The USS Justice, a local chapter of STARFLEET: The International Star Trek Fan Association, will host a free, family‑friendly celebration honoring the 60th Anniversary of Star Trek on Saturday, September 26, 2026, at the Morris County Library, located at 30 East Hanover Avenue, Whippany, NJ. The event runs from 10:00 AM to 4:30 PM and is open to fans of all ages. No tickets or reservations are required.
The celebration will feature screenings of three iconic episodes from Star Trek: The Original Series: 
- “The Man Trap” 
- “Space Seed” 
- “Balance of Terror”

Each episode will be accompanied by themed bingo card games, trivia, and interactive activities designed to bring fans deeper into the world of Star Trek. Additional attractions include Star Trek–themed games, snacks and drinks, and a dedicated photo booth where attendees can “Say Cheese!” and receive a free Star Trek sticker.
Guests will also have the opportunity to meet the crew of the USS Justice, learn about STARFLEET’s community involvement, and explore how Star Trek continues to inspire science, creativity, and exploration six decades after its debut.
“This event is a celebration of everything Star Trek stands for — imagination, diversity, curiosity, and hope for the future,” said the USS Justice leadership team. “We’re excited to welcome longtime fans, new fans, families, and anyone who wants to enjoy a fun day at the library. 
The event is completely FREE and open to the public.

Eleventh Hour Rescue is a primarily volunteer based, no-kill rescue that saves animals on Death Row from overcrowded high kill shelters, as well as taking in strays and owner surrenders before they go to the shelter. Eleventh Hour Rescue dogs and cats are cared for by our compassionate and dedicated team of volunteers and staff.
&nbsp;Whether in foster homes, our kennel, or adoption centers, each dog and cat receive a clean and safe living environment, fresh food and water, medical attention, and most importantly an abundance of love and care until they find their forever homes. We are dedicated to educating the community about the animal overpopulation problem and the importance of spaying and neutering, as well as microchipping. Our goal is to find the best forever home possible for all of our animals, no matter what breed, size, age, or medical need.
