BE SURE TO ATTEND THE 21st ANNUAL CHRISTMAS IN THE VILLAGE EVENT
The 21st annual Christmas in the Village event takes place on Saturday, December 5, 2026 from 10 am to 4 pm at several venues within the Village proper: the Jefferson Township Museum (315 Dover Milton Rd), Milton United Methodist Church (316 Dover Milton Rd), Lake Vision Church (153 Milton Rd), and the Jefferson Twsp Fire Co. #1’s firehouse (162 Milton Rd).
Scheduled Entertainment/Demonstrations - Jefferson Twsp Community Concert Band, Jefferson Twsp Community Chorus, Jefferson Twsp Intermediate School Instrumental Ensembles, Jefferson Twsp High School Tri-Honors Ensemble, Jefferson Twsp High School Madrigal Singers, Jefferson Twsp High School Select Chamber Choir, the Jefferson Girl Scouts Sing-along, Oak Ridge Martial Arts Demo, Cub Scout Pack 49 & 111’s Children’s Activities, and the annual Gingerbread House Wonderland contest and display which will be located in Headley Hall in the Milton United Methodist Church. Additional events/activities TBA.
Arts/crafts/merchandise Vendors at both the Jefferson Twsp Fire Co. #1’s firehouse (Village Marketplace #1) and Lake Vision Church (Village Marketplace #2). Also Miss Elizabeth's Shoppe in the Jefferson Township Museum will be selling lovely gifts including jewelry.
Food Offerings: Milton United Methodist Church, Lake Vision Church, and Fire Company #1’s Ladies Auxiliary will be selling a variety of delicious food items and refreshments throughout the event while Miss Elizabeth's Shoppe will be selling snacks and baked goods, and the Museum will be offering complimentary hot cider and roasted chestnuts by the wood stove outside. The Jefferson Arts Committee will be selling 50/50 tickets for a 4pm on-site drawing, but winners do not need to be present.
Outside the Village Proper the following events will be taking place — The Jefferson Twsp Public Library (1031 Weldon Rd) will host holiday singing and dancing with Ms. Lauren from Sing a Song Music and children can participate in the assembly and decorating of cardboard gingerbread houses, paint a holiday card, and enjoy a delicious cookie on the way out. Note that the Library requires pre-online registration on their website as there are limited spaces available.
Enjoy a Pancake Breakfast with the Grinch at the Milton First Aid Squad (45 Milton Rd) with admission at the door and purchase a Live Christmas tree or wreath at the American Legion #423 Post (28 Legion Rd) while supplies last.
FREE ADMISSION TO ALL VENUES unless otherwise noted. FREE parking at Jefferson Twsp Fire Co. #1, the Jefferson Twsp Senior Center (54 Schoolhouse Rd), and American Legion Post #423 with free continuous shuttle buses to and from the Village at each of these locations.
