About 30 minutes from Augusta, Rock, Ribs & Ridges brings three days of live music, award-winning barbecue and family-friendly fun to the Sussex County Fairgrounds. Festivalgoers can enjoy performances from nationally recognized rock artists while sampling ribs, brisket and other barbecue specialties prepared by top pitmasters throughout the weekend. Lake Hopatcong Fireworks

Located in Mt. Arlington, the annual Lake Hopatcong Fireworks celebration transforms New Jersey's largest lake into a stunning backdrop for an evening of community pride and patriotic fun. Organized through the support of local municipalities, businesses, residents and first responders, the event concludes with a spectacular fireworks display reflecting across the water.
Denville Days

Located about 25 minutes away in Denville, Denville Days is a three-day Fourth of July celebration packed with live entertainment, family-friendly activities and community traditions at Gardner Field. The event features food vendors, contests, a car show, artisan exhibits, a fire truck display and a fireworks show, offering something for visitors of all ages throughout the holiday weekend.

Located about 15 minutes away in Augusta, the Sussex County Miners' Sons of Liberty Weekend combines America's pastime with a patriotic celebration of the nation's 250th anniversary. The two-night event features baseball, tributes to military members and first responders, a special jersey auction benefiting local causes and what promises to be the largest fireworks display in team history. Sparta Fourth Of July Parade

Held in the heart of Sparta, the annual Fourth of July Parade celebrates America's 250th anniversary with a festive lineup of patriotic floats, live music and community spirit. Organized by Sparta Elks Lodge #2356, the parade is the only Independence Day procession in Sussex County and showcases local businesses, organizations and civic groups in a family-friendly celebration.
Independence Day Picnic
