Gas Main Break Closes Lane Of Highway In Hudson County: DOT
A gas main break has closed part of a major highway in Hudson County, the state said.
JERSEY CITY, NJ — A gas main break has closed one lane of a major highway through Hudson County, the state said on Wednesday.
Crews responded around 12:30 p.m. to repair the main on Routes 1&9 in Jersey City, said the state Department of Transporation's 511NJ website.
The break occurred near Duncan Avenue, the state said.

One right lane of two southbound lanes was still closed after 1 p.m. as repairs are made, the state said.
