JERSEY CITY, NJ — The windows of a corner storefront in Jersey City are now full of cakes and other pastries, as a new café prepares for a grand opening.

Le Four at 520 Jersey Ave. is in "soft opening mode," said the Historic Downtown Special Improvement District in a social media post on Friday. They're "testing operations, stocking their cases, and training the team ahead of their full launch in just a few weeks."

A video called "silent opening" showed cakes and twists, wraps, and sandwiches, including ingredients from lox to guacamole.
