2 Dogs Die In Lacey House Fire: Officials
The fire occurred Wednesday night in Lanoka Harbor, officials said.
LANOKA HARBOR, NJ — Two dogs were killed in a house fire Wednesday night in Lanoka Harbor, according to authorities.
Firefighters were dispatched at about 11:15 p.m. for the residential fire, the Lanoka Harbor Vol. Fire Co. said.
Forked River firefighters, Bayville firefighters and Lanoka Harbor EMS joined Lanoka Harbor firefighters.

"Crews immediately started fire suppression and various other related tasks to bring the fire to complete extinguishment," Lanoka Harbor firefighters said.
Waretown firefighters were also brought in.

A GoFundMe has been launched to help the family who have been displaced from their home due to the fire.
Authorities are investigating the cause of the fire.
