26 New Members Join Lacey Elks Lodge

LACEY, NJ — Lacey Elks Lodge #2518 celebrated the addition of 26 new members on Aug. 30 when the group was formally initiated into the Benevolent and Protective Order of Elks.

The initiation marked a milestone for the new members as they joined an organization described as having a long-standing commitment to serving communities, supporting veterans, helping children, providing scholarships and assisting those in need.

Lacey Elks Lodge #2518 said it is actively involved throughout the local community and that it expects the new members to contribute through volunteer service and participation in lodge programs and committees. The lodge said the additions bring new enthusiasm, ideas and talents that will help strengthen its charitable and community service programs.

“Membership is more than simply joining an organization,” said lodge ER Michael Day. “It is an opportunity to become part of a team that works together to make a positive difference in the lives of others.”

The lodge framed the ceremony as both a welcome and a step into ongoing service. According to the announcement, the newest members are joining a local group that places a strong focus on volunteer work and community support.

The organization said its local efforts include service to veterans and children, scholarship support and help for people in need.
