Lacey High Graduation Rescheduled Due To Weather

Lacey Township High School's graduation will be held Wednesday at 6 p.m., with a Haines Street closure planned afterward.

LACEY, NJ — Lacey Township High School's graduation ceremony, originally scheduled for Tuesday evening, has been rescheduled for Wednesday, June 24, 2026, at 6 p.m.

The ceremony will take place at Lacey Township High School, 73 Haines St. in Lanoka Harbor.

Police said Haines Street will be closed between Manchester Avenue and Lake Barnegat Drive North on June 24 from 7:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. Motorists are encouraged to seek alternate routes during that time and should expect heavy traffic in the area.

Attendees are encouraged to arrive early because parking areas fill up quickly, according to police. Overflow parking will be available at Lacey Township Middle School, 660 Denton Ave. in Forked River, and at Gille Park, 56 Manchester Ave. in Forked River. Both locations are a short walk from Lacey Township High School.

The traffic advisory came with a message from the Lacey Township Police Department marking the occasion for graduating seniors. In the notice, the department said it "would like to congratulate the Class of 2026 and wish all graduates the very best in their future endeavors."
