Nor'easter Reschedules Lacey Day
The annual community event will now take place in October.
LACEY, NJ — An impending nor'easter has caused Lacey Township to reschedule its annual Lacey Day event to Oct. 4.
The event was initially set for Sept. 26.
"Due to the weather forecast of high winds along with periods of rain expected throughout the day on Saturday, we have decided to postpone Lacey Day and move it to our make-up date of Sunday, October 4th," Lacey Recreation said in announcing the news.

It will run from 12 p.m. to 4 p.m. at Gille Park.
Lacey Day is a free to attend event featuring "For'kid' River Games, a Battle of the Bands, Food Trucks, local businesses, and more fun for the whole family!" according to the township.
