Autism Awareness In Livingston: Police Will Hold Community Breakfast For Local Families

The Livingston Police Department is holding a special Community Breakfast to celebrate the start of Autism Awareness Month.
This inclusive event welcomes individuals with special needs and their families to the Senior Community Center at 204 Hillside Avenue on Saturday, March 21 from 9 to 11 a.m. Attendees can look forward to sensory-friendly activities, information about programs and services available for individuals with special needs, and a craft station run by students from Alliance of Youth Leaders in the United States (AYLUS). Attendees can also purchase a commemorative Autism Awareness challenge coin or t-shirt from the Livingston Police Department, with all proceeds benefiting Spectrum 360 and LifeTown, organizations dedicated to supporting individuals with autism and developmental disabilities.

"This breakfast is an opportunity to for our department to connect and show our support for individuals with special needs and their families."
