Livingston Historical Society presents "The Signers Among Us" by Peter Berkowsky

The Livingston Historical Society is starting off the season with a captivating presentation by Peter Berkowsky on "The Signers Among Us," a tribute to the five New Jersey patriots who added their names to the Declaration of Independence 250 years ago. Discover the remarkable stories of Richard Stockton, John Witherspoon, Abraham Clark, John Hart and Francis Hopkinson, the New Jerseyans whose signatures etched history into the annals of time.

Peter is a lover of history, and styles himself an "amateur historian." He has been delivering Livingston's public reading of the Declaration of Independence every year on the Fourth of July, since he inaugurated this program in 2000.
