Barbara Naughright, Mother of Dr. Jamie Naughright, dies at 82

Barbara Naughright was married to James Naughright (lifetime member of the Long Valley Fire Department, Long Valley First Aid Squad and a Korean vet) who passed away from heart transplant complications in 1999. Mrs. Naughright's son, Jimmy Naughright (an incredible individual), passed away from AIDS in 1995. Mrs. Naughright enjoyed traveling with her daughter, Dr. Jamie Naughright, to Hawaii, LA, San Francisco, New York City, Key West as well as attending football games at the University of Tennessee in Knoxville. She loved watching the Bucs in Florida as well as the Devil Ray baseball games, Detroit Tigers training practice, and sitting in the X boxes at Lightening Games. Her favorite football player was Tom Brady. She enjoyed yoga as well as eating at five star restaurants. Her favorite designer was Donna Karan and Michael Kors. Her grandchildren, Shiva and Shanti, miss her terribly. Mrs. Naughright was cremated and buried next to her husband and son in German Valley cemetery, in Long Valley, off of Naughright Road. In lieu of flowers, she and her husband request donations to Long Valley Fire Department, Long Valley Rescue Squad, Washington Township Police Department, and the Indepence Township Police Department.
