Although the event is free to all, any money you donate to Ethos as part of attending this event will be generously matched by The DeSalvo’s.

My Dog's Got Class

In Basic class, we will cover behaviors such as sit, down, wait, stay, recall, loose leash walking, leave it, drop it, and more! We will also start to add some distance, distraction, and duration to some of these behaviors and help incorporate them into everyday situations such as “wait there while I answer the door” or “sit on the scale so the vet tech can record your weight”. Our trainers are here to help you every step of the way!This 6-week, 1-hour class is open to any dog 5 months or older. Payment is required upon registration to hold your spot.

Does your well-mannered dog love strangers? Do you like to volunteer your time and make people smile? Do you want to share your love for dogs and your dog’s love with like-minded people who don’t have that opportunity? Then you are a Pet Therapy Dog team in the making.Don’t know where to start? The Pet Therapy Prep Class will help you prepare to become a certified therapy dog team. In this 6-week course, you will review behaviors that will help move your dog forward in their therapy dog training.PRE-REQUISITE for this course is completion of the Basic class. Your dog should have a reliable sit, down, stay, recall and loose leash walking skills, in the presence of other dogs and people. Dogs should be at least 10 months of age at the start of the class. Rescue dogs should be with their owners at least 6 months. Payments MUST be made upon registration in order to secure a spot in the class.

Ethos Farm to Health will be partnering with AnnMarie once again for a &nbsp;demonstrate and explanation on the different methods to cook the various forms of oats! &nbsp;From groats in the instapot, tropical overnight oats, an oatmeal fruit bake, and for anyone with NO-Time the microwave in just 90 seconds and a savory oat option.&nbsp;
This will be a fun class at the farm. Bring your question... and your appetite and then get ready to try oats like you have never tried them before.&nbsp;

Join our exclusive workshop led by local, regenerative organic grain farmer and sourdough bread baker extraordinaire Jason DeSalvo, at Cold Brook Farm in Oldwick, NJ. In this three hour class, Jason will introduce you to sourcing the finest organic grains, the importance of whole grains to your health and WFPB-SOS lifestyle, the difference between freshly milled flour and what we typically buy in a store, baking with a sourdough starter and the basic concepts behind baking glorious, nutritious breads in a normal oven right in your own home.
During our time together you will taste different grain berries, mill fresh flour, taste the difference between freshly milled and store bought flour, create your own sourdough starter and bake bread! &nbsp;Please bring a small, clean widemouth jar (8-12 ounces is an ideal size) if you plan on taking home your very own “baby” (i.e. sourdough starter).
This class will be held at Cold Brook Farm in Oldwick, NJ and is strictly limited to eight people. &nbsp;Class will start promptly and directions will be emailed to all participants upon receipt of payment.&nbsp;&nbsp; Please note, we cannot honor cancellations within 5 days of the class. If you need to cancel, please notify us as soon as possible, but at least 5 days prior to the class. Failure to cancel 5 days in advance will forfeit your class.
