Two summer clinics will offer baseball instruction for Grades 2-8 and ages 7-15 in Washington Township.

LONG VALLEY, NJ — Washington Township Recreation has announced two summer baseball clinics at Palmer Park for local youth players. The programs are aimed at students in Grades 2–8 and athletes ages 7–15, with instruction focused on skill building and game development.

The first program, the Complete Player Baseball Clinic, is designed for players in Grades 2–8. It is scheduled for June 22–25 from 9 to 12:30 p.m., with a rain date of June 26. According to the announcement, participants will receive hands-on instruction centered on building well-rounded baseball fundamentals.

Washington Township Recreation said a non-refundable fee for that clinic is due by June 12. The township also said a $25 late fee will be applied to payments received after the registration deadline. Payments will not be accepted at the clinic site, according to the announcement.
