Lottery Player In Mahwah Wins $500K From Scratch-Off; 4 Others Win Powerball
Three lottery players in Mahwah won prizes on the same day last week. Meanwhile, the Powerball jackpot is rising.
MAHWAH, NJ — Three people won lottery prizes with tickets purchased in Mahwah last week, including $500,000 from a scratch-off.
According to the NJ Lottery, three winning tickets were sold in that town last Wednesday.
Someone won $500,000 when they scratched off a Ruby 7's ticket bought at 7-Eleven on Franklin Turnpike, the lottery agency said.

Ruby 7's players can win various amounts if they scratch off a "7" on their ticket. The tickets cost $10 each.
In addition, as the Powerball jackpot climbed to $1 billion last week, a player in Mahwah won $50,000 by playing that game. They bought their ticket at Fardale Deli & Mini Mart on Wyckoff Avenue.

And the same day, another lucky player won $50,000 in Powerball from a ticket they bought at C-Store on Route 17.
Elsewhere in Bergen County, someone won $50,000 in Powerball from a ticket they bought the same day at Liquor World on Bergen Blvd. in Fort Lee.
And a player won $50,000 in Poweball last Monday at the New Milford ShopRite.
While one player in another state claimed the Powerball jackpot last week, the pot is up to $350 million again this week, with another drawing set for Monday night.
