Belmar always holds their parade early in the season, and the Belmar St. Paddy's Day parade is usually the first on the Jersey Shore. The parade kicks off an entire month of Gaelic pride and similar parades up and down the Shore.
"The 2026 St. Patrick's Day Parade will not be held on Sunday, March 1st due to impacts of the blizzard and safety concerns for participants and spectators," said Belmar organizers Tuesday. "We hope to reschedule for another date in coordination with Belmar and Lake Como, depending on logistics, safety and financial issues. Thank you for the continued support for our parade and we will post updates when a decision has been made."
