Attention Female Maplewood and South Orange Artists

Dear Artists:

We have extended the deadline in the hopes that we see your beautiful art in our storefront windows. While we have received wonderful entries, we still have not seen yours.

In honor of Women’s History Month, Windows for Women returns to Maplewood this March! This year’s program is presented by the Maplewood Village Alliance (MVA) in partnership with Springfield Avenue Maplewood (SAM) and the Maplewood Division of Arts & Culture.

We’re celebrating the creativity of women artists — inclusive of all who identify with womanhood — living in Maplewood or South Orange, and inviting you to participate in this beloved community showcase.
Bring more visitors to our wonderful businesses. Bring more attention to your work.

About the Project

Selected artworks will be displayed in storefront windows throughout Maplewood Village and Springfield Avenue. Artists may be featured in more than one venue or share a window with another artist. Once work is approved, substitutions require MVA permission.

Project Components

2. Launch Party at The Woodland — February 26, 2026, 5:30–8:30 PM
