Here's Maplewood Full Lineup Of Events For July 4
The festivities begin on July 4 at 8 a.m. with a 5K Race.
MAPLEWOOD, NJ — Residents and visitors are invited to celebrate Independence Day in Maplewood with a full day of family-friendly events on Friday, culminating in a fireworks display at Memorial Park South.
The festivities begin on July 4 at 8 a.m. with a 5K Race at the CHS Track & Field, followed by a Bike Parade at 10 a.m. starting at Ricalton Square.
Children ages 2–13 can participate in the Kids Fun Run at 10:30 a.m. at Memorial Park North, while adults are invited to join a pickup softball game at noon in the same park.

Afternoon activities at the Maplewood Community Center include Bingo at 1:30 p.m., a Pet Parade at 3 p.m. (with pre-registration required and pets leashed), and an Ice Cream Eating Contest at 4 p.m., sponsored by the Maplewood Rotary Club.
The evening celebration kicks off at 7:30 p.m. at Memorial Park South, featuring music from DJ Jimmy, a light show, food vendors, and family entertainment before the 9 p.m. fireworks display.
