Maplewood Shred It Day Returns: What To Know
Residents can bring personal papers to the Public Works Recycling Center, with photo ID and proof of residency required.
MAPLEWOOD, NJ — Maplewood residents with personal papers to dispose of have another Shred It Day coming up, but the township says the event could end before noon if both trucks fill.
The township’s biannual Shred It Day of 2026 is scheduled for Saturday, Oct. 10, from 8 a.m. to noon at the Department of Public Works Recycling Center, 359 Boyden Avenue.
Residents may bring personal paper items, including legal documents, private records, personal files and books. The township says the service is “strictly for Maplewood residents only.”
