Cars Broken Into In Matawan Tuesday Morning
Cars parked in Edgemere Heights were broken into early Tuesday morning in Matawan, said police.
MATAWAN, NJ — Cars parked in Edgemere Heights were broken into early Tuesday morning in Matawan, police in that town report.
A man was arrested. Police are now looking for additional cars he may have broken into.
"During the early morning hours of Tuesday, March 3, patrol officers of the Matawan Police Department arrested a male individual that was actively burglarizing vehicles in Edgemere Heights," said Matawan Police. "Please inspect your vehicles for missing items and report the missing items to the Matawan Police Department."

"Anyone along the Main Street corridor or Edgemere Heights that has any video footage of a suspicious male wearing black clothing with a hood and blue and white hat, please contact the Detective Division at (732) 290-2020 option 4."
