Voter Guide For June 2 Matawan-Aberdeen Primary Election

MATAWAN, NJ — There will be a primary election next Tuesday, June 2 in Matawan and Aberdeen. The general election is in November.

In Aberdeen, a Democrat and a Republican are running for the one at-large Council seat, and voters will be asked to choose one:

• Catherine Zavorskas, Democrat
• Matthew Braithwaite, Republican

In Matawan, voters will be asked to choose two for town Council:

Arlan Feiles, Democrat (current Councilwoman)
James McCue, Democrat

Raymound Stuetz, Republican
Anthony Washington, Republican

Matawan voters will choose two people from each party on June 2, and then those people will face off against each other in the general election in November.

Mail-in ballots have long since gone out to homes. There is a ballot drop box right outside the main entrance to Matawan town hall, 201 Broad Street. There is also a ballot drop box at the Aberdeen town hall.
