Middlesex Energy Workshop Offers Ways To Cut Costs

MIDDLESEX, NJ — Middlesex residents looking for ways to reduce household energy use and costs can learn about available programs and incentives during a free community workshop Saturday.

The Middlesex Green Team Energy Workshop runs from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. in the Middlesex Library Community Room.

The workshop follows the borough's September launch of a residential energy-efficiency outreach campaign connecting residents with PSE&G programs and incentives.

“We know that many residents want to reduce their energy use but aren’t sure where to start,” Green Team Chairperson Clare Levourne said.

“This campaign is intended to connect our community members to a free home energy assessment and clear guidance on available programs, making it simple to take the first step,” she added.

The borough said homeowners and renters of all income levels may be eligible for program options and incentives.
