Handyman Stole Jewelry From Tinton Falls Senior Living Community, Police Say
Tinton Falls Police say they have been getting reports of theft since December.
TINTON FALLS, NJ — A handyman stole jewelry and other items from homes inside the Seabrook Village community in Tinton Falls, said police in that town.
Seabrook is a senior living community; it is a gated community of apartments for seniors 62+.
The man charged is Parry DuPont, 54, of Lakehurst, who was charged with five counts of third-degree burglary and theft by unlawful taking.

Tinton Falls Police say they have been getting reports of thefts at Seabrook Village for the past two months: Through December to February, Parry would enter the property and say he was a contracted SeaBrook Village handyman. Once inside people's apartments, he would steal jewelry and other miscellaneous items.
Parry’s burglary spree reached $30,000 in the value of stolen items, said Tinton Falls Police. He was arrested and taken to the Monmouth County Jail.
