Keansburg, Keyport Men Charged With Freehold Library Shooting
A Keansburg man is charged with shooting another man last Thursday at the Freehold borough public library. Keyport man also arrested.
FREEHOLD, NJ — A Keansburg man is charged with shooting another man last Thursday at the Freehold borough public library.
Kanye P. Faucette, 19, was charged with first-degree attempted murder and two counts of illegal gun possession. Police say Faucette was responsible for the shooting. The investigation further resulted in Heaven D. Holmes, 20, of Keyport, being charged with two counts of illegal gun possession as well.
At 4:21 p.m. April 30, Freehold borough Police responded to the area of the Freehold Borough Public Library at 28 East Main Street for a report of gunshots. Upon arrival, officers located a male victim suffering from a gunshot wound.

He was rushed to a local hospital for treatment and is now in stable condition.
Faucette was located and arrested by the U.S. Marshals Service New York/New Jersey Regional Fugitive Task Force. Both are currently being held at the Monmouth County Jail.
