During the period of December 1, 2025 to December 31, 2025, the Middletown Twp. Police Department responded to 4,078 calls for service, including 416 first aid calls, 127 burglar alarms, 83 fire calls and 172 motor vehicle crashes.

Police officers arrested 42 individuals, including 11 for outstanding bench warrants and 5 for domestic violence. Arrests in December are as follows:

A man, age 29, from Neptune City, was arrested by Officer Chad Bacek for criminal mischief and criminal trespass. Processed and released after posting bail.

A man, age 47, from Keansburg, was arrested by Officer Doug Habermann for theft. He was processed and lodged at the Monmouth County Correctional Institution, Freehold.

A woman, age 67, from Middletown, was arrested by Sergeant Eric Van Schaack for driving under the influence. She was processed and released on his own recognizance.

A man, age 31, from Middletown, was arrested by Officer John Mania for driving under the influence. Was processed and released on a summons complaint.
