Middletown Educator Praised For Helping Students Reach Their Potential

Middletown, New Jersey — Behind every thriving student is someone who believed in them. To celebrate these mentors, Patch has partnered with T-Mobile to spotlight the educators, coaches and role models supporting the next generation.

Parent of former students.

How have they made an impact?

Mr. Font is an exceptional teacher at Middletown Village School. My three children had the privilege of being in his class. He makes learning fun and really goes above and beyond.

When my children were in his class, he helped build their confidence. On the first day of school, they made individual superhero capes, and he told them they all had a special power and that by the end of the school year, they would figure out what it was.

I will also never forget that when an all-Spanish-speaking new student came into his class, he went above and beyond to buy the same book they were covering in class in Spanish so she wouldn't be left behind.

I have many other stories of his wonderful way of bringing out the best in his students.
