MIDDLETOWN, NJ — Middletown Police Lieutenant Christopher Dee graduated from the FBI National Academy on June 18, in a ceremony held at the FBI's training camp in Quantico, Virginia.

Dee is the thirteenth officer in Middletown Police Dept. history to graduate from the prestigious program. Fewer than one percent of police officers across the U.S. have the opportunity to attend the program.

The National Academy offers 10 weeks of advanced training in communication, leadership and other contemporary courses of study. Participants must have proven records as professionals within their agencies to attend. On average, these men and women have 21 years of law enforcement experience and usually return to their agencies to serve in executive-level positions.
