Tall Ships Will Anchor Off Sandy Hook Starting Tuesday; See Them This Week
Dozens of tall ships from around the world will be docked in Sandy Hook Bay from Tuesday through Friday night.
ATLANTIC HIGHLANDS, NJ — The tall ships are coming!
Starting Tuesday, historic tall ships from around the world will be arriving into the waters around New York City.
They are coming to this area for the July 4th Parade of Ships, which is Saturday in New York harbor. And their main docking spot as they wait is right off Sandy Hook: Dozens of tall ships will be docked in Sandy Hook Bay starting from Tuesday, June 30 through Saturday morning, July 4.

There may be as many as 30 tall ships from across the world anchored in Sandy Hook Bay, reports this local news site.
Early in the morning on July 4, the ships will depart the area and sail north into New York Harbor for the Parade of Ships. So, see them this week before they're gone!

Many private boat companies Middletown, Highlands and Atlantic Highlands, including the Seastreak Ferry, are offering trips out to see the ships. Book your tour now. This will be a rare chance to see the boats up close and personal from the water.
Also, the Atlantic Highlands Fireman's Fair will be held from June 30 through July 4, from 6-11 p.m. in the town harbor. Live bands every night. Fireworks will go off Thursday night, July 2 at 9:30 p.m
