Millburn High School alum Evan Sherman will bring a quartet of terrific musicians to the Morris Museum’s Back Deck Outdoor Concert Series in Morristown on Thursday, August 13 at 7:30 PM.
Evan’s musical career began as a teenager playing around the NJ/NY area, where he was fortunate to be mentored by many of the area’s great musicians. Since 2022, he has been touring and recording steadily with vocalist Samara Joy, who has received six GRAMMY Awards, including two for projects Evan was involved in.
After seven consecutive years of bringing a variety of musicians to the Back Deck, this year’s lineup features:
Joe Magnarelli — trumpet/flugelhorn
Justin Robinson — alto saxophone
Pat Bianchi — organ
Evan Sherman — drums
