Multiple Road Closures In Millburn Scheduled For Utility, Construction Work

MILLBURN, NJ — Motorists in Millburn are advised to expect traffic disruptions as several roads will be temporarily closed for utility and construction work on Thursday, with most closures taking place during daytime hours.

Scheduled closures include:

• 89 Maple St.: 7 a.m. to 3 p.m.
• Brookside Drive at Glen Avenue: 7 p.m. to 4 a.m.
• 68 Whittingham Terrace: 7 a.m. to 11 a.m.
• 298 Main St.: 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.
• Jefferson Avenue at Adams Avenue: 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.
• 249 Millburn Ave.: 8 a.m. to 3 p.m.
• Essex Street at Holmes Street: 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.
• South Terrace at Twin Oak Road: 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Officials noted that, unless otherwise specified, weather permitting, road closures can generally be expected between 7 a.m. and 5 p.m. Drivers are encouraged to plan alternate routes and allow extra travel time while work is underway.
