Hands Up Silent Theatre is bringing NEWSIES to the Levoy Theatre in Millville, NJ on June 20, 2026 with TWO performances at 11AM and 5PM.
Get ready to “Seize the Day” as our students bring this beloved musical to life through a dynamic blend of performance, movement, and American Sign Language. This ASL-centered production creates an inclusive, fully accessible experience where Deaf and hearing audiences can share the story together.
Filled with heart, grit, and powerful choreography, Newsies follows a group of young newsboys who stand up for what’s right. At Hands Up Silent Theatre, their fight for justice is told with expressive signing, visual storytelling, and a cast that celebrates the strength of Deaf culture.
