Deadline Approaching For Montville's Integrated Preschool Lottery. Here's How to Apply

Children must be at least 3 and fully toilet trained by Sept. 1; documents can be dropped off at the Central Office by appointment.

MONTVILLE, NJ — Montville Township Public Schools is accepting applications for its Integrated Preschool Program, which enrolls children with and without special needs together in a child-centered classroom setting.

The program serves 3- and 4-year-olds through half-day sessions five days a week. Three-year-olds attend morning sessions from 8:10 to 10:40 a.m.; 4-year-olds attend afternoon sessions from noon to 2:30 p.m.

Instruction is led by certified teachers and supported by a speech and language specialist and an occupational and physical therapist. Students also receive weekly art, music, and media instruction and participate in school-wide events including assemblies, theme days, and field trips.

Enrollment for typical preschool children is limited and awarded through a lottery. To be eligible, children must turn 3 by Sept. 1 and must be toilet trained. All applicants will complete a preschool readiness screening.

Tuition is $577.50 per month for ten months. Limited transportation is available at $290 per year one-way or $580 round-trip.

Applications for the 2026-27 school year are due June 1. Applications received after that date will be placed on a waiting list. Applicants must submit a child's birth certificate, proof of residency, and a driver's license. To schedule document drop-off, call 973-331-7100 x2203.
