2 Weeks Of Traffic Anticipated In Burlington County: See Where

BURLINGTON COUNTY, NJ — The resurfacing of a portion of Mount Holly-Jacksonville Road (County Route 628) is estimated to bring two weeks of traffic and detours, the county said.

Work is scheduled to begin on Tuesday in Westampton, Eastampton, and Springfield along 1.7 miles from Oxmead Road to Route 670 (Jacksonville-Jobstown Road).

Traffic will continue northbound during the two-week stretch.

Southbound drivers will be detoured to Route 670, Route 206, Route 537, and Route 630.

Delays are anticipated, and drivers should use alternative routes when possible, the county added.

The work is part of Burlington County's annual resurfacing program.

"Our repaving program ensures Burlington County has safe, quality roads, and we are pleased to see that work is continuing," said Burlington County Commissioner Tom Pullion, liaison to the Department of Public Works.

Through a contract with Arawak Paving, 34.3 miles of road in 14 Burlington County municipalities is scheduled to be repaved.
