Man Dies After Being Hit By Car In Moorestown

Witnesses are asked to come forward.

MOORESTOWN, NJ — A 37-year-old man is dead after he was hit by a driver on Tuesday night, Moorestown Police said.

At around 8:15 p.m., officers were joined by the Moorestown Fire Department, EMS, and paramedics as they responded to Nixon Drive near South Lenola Road for a report of a person who was hit by a car.

According to early evidence, Christopher Guyton, of Camden, was walking on the north side of the road when he was hit by a driver going west.

Guyton was taken to Cooper University Hospital where he later died.

His family has been notified.
