Nominate An 'Outstanding Women' From Burlington County: Here's How

BURLINGTON COUNTY, NJ — Burlington County is looking to recognize nine women for their contributions in given categories and support for women in their communities.

These mentors and role models will be grouped into the fields of business, community service, diversity/inclusion, education, health care, law, leadership, military/veteran, and public safety.

The public safety division includes first responders, federal agencies, dispatchers, EMS, fire, and law enforcement.

"Burlington County has a rich history of women leaders, trailblazers, and achievers, so we are excited to continue the tradition of recognizing some of our present-day women leaders for their accomplishments and service," Burlington County Commissioner Director, Dr. Felicia Hopson, said.

The awards are bestowed annually by the Commissioners along with the Burlington County Women's Advisory Council.

Applications are being accepted now through the close of business on June 12.

Winners will be honored on Oct. 6 at the annual "Outstanding Women Awards Reception."
