Wendy's Fire Leads To Closure In Burlington Co.

The fire emerged while the restaurant was closed.

MOUNT LAUREL, NJ — A fire broke out early Thursday at a Wendy's restaurant in Mount Laurel.

Firefighters responded to the blaze around 4 a.m. at Wendy's on Centerton Road, which was closed at the time.

First responders found white smoke rising from the roof and discovered the fire in the rear of the building.

The blaze was quickly placed under control, with no injuries reported, according to IAFF Local 4408, Mount Laurel's professional firefighter's union.

The union shared photos of interior damage.

The fire is under investigation.

Wendy's of Centerton Road remained closed on Thursday, according to the location's Facebook page. It's unclear when it will reopen.

A Wendy's spokesperson didn't immediately return comment to Patch.
